Diaphragm tanks are commonly used at the pressure manifold to provide water storage for the system in very low flow situations. This reduces the running time of the booster pumps, making the system more energy efficient.
In booster applications, diaphragm tanks can be used at both the pressure and suction manifolds. A tank connected to the suction manifold is used to counteract fluctuating inlet pressures.
A pressure tank, also known as an accumulator tank, gives you a smoother water flow, quieter operation, saves your battery power and extends the life of your pump. A must for any setup!
