The Foras HPR line is a range of horizontal multistage pumps with "ring section" design.
This family of pumps has been designed to operate in heavy-duty conditions, at very high pressures and temperatures up to 180°C. The wide choice of materials, the different types of shaft seals and the different lubrication solutions for the pump bearings make this range very versatile and ideal for many applications in the industrial, energy and water treatment sectors. Water booster sets, irrigation systems, drinking water distribution systems are the most common applications.
Main fields of application:
- Pressure raising groups in the building and construction sector
- Firefighting and applications with diesel engines
- Mining and ATEX applications
- Service facilities in the petrochemical sectors, Energy
- Geothermal plants
- Boiler feed
- Water desalination by reverse Osmosis
- Filtration and ultrafiltration plants
- Water treatment plants
All pumps are end-of-line tested to ensure correct operation of the installation. Hydraulic performance is controlled and guaranteed according to ISO 9906 Grade 3B.
Main characteristics:
- High hydraulic efficiency, up to 80%
- Balancing drum, placed on the discharge casing, which effectively compensates the axial thrust produced by the impellers
- Versatile sealing system: which is available as packing, single Mechanical or Balanced Mechanical, other special types upon request
- The pumps’ bearings are available with grease or oil lubrication in order to assure a long operating life
- Wear rings: they are available both fixed and rotating, in various materials, with hardening treatments
Special materials and seal executions are available on demand.
