Foras PSC series pumps are horizontal, single stage, axially split volute casing pumps with double suction radial impellers.

PSC series pumps are suitable for clean or slightly contaminated water with max solids content of 50 gr/m3 liquids with low viscosities and temperatures up to 110º C.

The advantages of PSC series: 
- Split case design permits easy disassembly of the rotor group for maintenance or repair without distorting pump alignment and suction / discharge pippin.
- Suction and Discharge Flanges are conforming to EN 1092-2/PN 16 or PN25. (EN 1092-1 /PN 16 or PN 25 for steel or stainless steel casing)
- Final balancing according to ISO 1940 class 6.3 on the completely assembled rotor to reduce vibrations and stresses
- Seal within pump body and cover with fibre gasket for easy and fast maintenance
- Hydraulic performance tests made on all models
- Fully steel shaft with protecting bushing
- Replaceable wear rings: two wear rings fixed to the impeller, to assure wear resistance and protection to the impeller and the pump body
- Grease lubricated ball bearings
 
In standard construction, the direction of rotation is clockwise when it is looked from the drive end. In this case, suction flange is on the right and discharge flange is on the left. 
 
On request:
- The Pumps can be supplied with soft packing, mechanical seal according to EN 12756
- The direction of rotation can be reversed, as well as the position of the suction and discharge flanges.
